VIETNAM TOURIST VISA – THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Foreigners who want to come to Vietnam for tourism must have a Vietnam Tourist Visa (DL), this is a type of visa issued to foreigners coming to Vietnam for tourism purposes and does not apply to those who intend to work here.

1. Types of Tourist Visa

1 month single entry visa;
1 month multiple entry visa;
3 months single entry visa; and
3 months multiple entry visa.

2. Vietnam Tourist Visa Requirements

Conditions for foreigners to be granted tourist visa for Vietnam:

Not subject to entry ban or restriction on entry to Vietnam
A completed Vietnamese tourist visa form (in paper or online)
Passport valid for at least 2 months
Passport with 2 blank pages for stamping visa
2 photographs with size 3×4 (cm)

3. How to Get Vietnam Tourist Visa?

Foreign travelers can apply for tourist visa for Vietnam by Evisa. This method is acceptable for both single or multiple entry lasting a maximum of 90 days. Here is a list of ports that allowed foreigners to enter and exit Vietnam by Vietnamese Evisa.

They can obtain a Vietnam tourist E-visa by:

Filling in the online application form and paying visa fee.
Receiving a Vietnam Evisa approval letter through the registered email during the registered processing time.
Printing out the Evisa approval letter or showing it to the customs officer upon arrival.
Having the visa sticker granted to gain entry admission.
