What are the visa requirements for Vietnam?
1. VOA Requirements:
To apply for a Vietnam visa on arrival, you must prepare the following documents:
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 2 months from the date of entry, with at least 2 blank pages.
- Approval Letter: Sent to your registered email.
- Photo: 2 recent passport-sized photos.
- Visa application form: Can be filled out online or upon arrival.
- Stamping fee: Must be paid in full at the airport.
2. E-Visa Requirements:
To apply for a Vietnam E-visa, you must prepare the following documents:
- Passport bio-data page: For filling in the online application form.
- Photo: a recent photograph with size 3×4 for filling in the online application form
- Credit/debit cards: For online payment for E-visa fees.
3. Attention:
- In case you are granted visa-free access to Vietnam, you just need a passport with at least 2 months of validity from the date of entry, with at least 2 blank pages;
- There may be more documents required if you apply for a specific visa type (other than a tourist visa);
- Travelers should check the airlines for Vietnam visa requirements if they are transiting through Vietnam’s airport;
- More than 80 citizens can travel using any mode of transportation with the E-Visa.
